I wanted to replace the laces in my old roller skates for my daughter. I had a hard time finding anything that was long enough at local shoe stores. These laces are the perfect length for the skates, and also a really superb quality - thick but not to thick to lace easily. The colors are great, too.

The laces are extremely strong and don't slip through the holes after you tighten them, which makes lacing my skates tightly much easier, even if I let go of the laces part way through the lacing process. Definitely recommend these for durability and style.

I was so excited to find waxed laces in this color... I've been hunting! I immediately swapped out my old hockey laces. I thought at first that they didn't feel quite as grippy as the old ones, but they're holding up just great. The length is great too! Thanks!!

After my first set of laces snapped (worn through from repeated toe-drags) I decided to spring for the waxed laces in the hopes of a bit more durability. These have satisfied all of my requirements, the laces are holding up well to repeated use and don't show any signs of fraying. When these do, inevitable, get worn out I can see myself buying another set from Derby Laces. These laces are also wider, which is an unexpected bonus for me. I can get a nice tight fit on my boot with causing the top of my foot to cramp (I had this problem all the time with the thinner laces). Snazzy, good price, and they come in purple!

I skate on concrete and these laces have lasted longer than any others. They're tough but not too waxy or difficult to tie.

These laces are brightly colored and very durable. They don't slip and they look incredible. I'll definitely be buying more.
